​April LeBlanc has emerged from a background of cooking, social work and business ownership over 15 years of hospitality and transitioning to business management in the past 7 years. Combining her love of catering for private events and moving into public larger events where she can use her education within event management, booking and securing venues but also supporting other catering and food truck businesses in order to step into the role of event manager is her main role within Silver Jet Events Ltd. Communications and networking throughout Vancouver Island plus into Lower BC and the Mainland has broadened her business partnerships to the point where she can create, execute and manage events with ease and a sense of purpose and alignment with her partner and love for creating a perfect experience for clients.

Not only locally on Vancouver Island, British Columbia but this partnership enterprise also seeks to gain business in their future goals for communities across Canada and internationally. ​
Meet Ryan, a seasoned hospitality professional with over 15 years of experience. From his humble beginnings as a dishwasher and delivery driver at Boston Pizza to managing Glenrosa Farm Restaurant, Ryan has held various roles in both large and small establishments. He brings a wealth of knowledge, having worked in various positions at weddings and events, from bartender to event planner. For the past six years, he has been the Band Manager and Lead Singer for Nautical Disaster, a popular Tragically Hip Tribute band. With connections in the entertainment industry, Ryan can facilitate stages, sound systems, and book the perfect entertainers for your event, whether you need musicians, fire dancers, clowns, or even medieval knights on horseback!

Outside of the entertainment & hospitality industries, Ryan also worked as a Deckhand with the Canadian Coast Guard for 5 years, offered guided hiking tours and Shinrin-Yoku Experiences as "The Natural Connection", and has a serious gardening addiction! @Goose River Farm, is our little backyard oasis. We grow tons of veggies, so you may have some of our homegrown produce included with your catering, or some fresh mint on the bar for mojitos!
